DISCLAIMER: I received a free sample of Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Makeup from Influenster for testing purposes.
Puerto Rican and Ecuadorian.
I’m the variety of Hispanic that tans easily. Very easily. I don’t use self-tanner or tanning beds. Outdoors works just fine for me.
So when I learned that I would be getting a sample of Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Makeup, I thought, ‘oh well. I’m not going to like this very much. But you can’t beat free!’
It arrived the other day, but I wasn’t ready to try it. I needed to shave my legs, for real. I don’t even put makeup on my face very much, so why would I take the time to put it on my legs? And then, the tube made me think, ‘I’m more tan than the makeup! Sigh, what a waste.’
But I had to give it a shot. Legs are presentable, thanks to walking 3 miles a day. Shaved, prepped, and makeup applied.
Can you tell which leg is made up and which is natural?
(Spoiler: makeup is on the left leg.)
The makeup, labeled Medium, is darker than the tube implied. It was absorbed almost immediately, and my legs feel so soft and smooth, not at all sticky, and definitely not orange.
Now, let’s be honest: I don’t need flawless legs chasing children around and driving to and from soccer. But this stuff would be perfect for that first warm day before the tan is developed, and great for special occasions when I’m wearing a shorter skirt or dress.
I heard Sally Hansen offers face makeup too. I think I’ll find out if that works as well.
So, while I realize that I should know better and always embrace what Influenster has to offer, I was glad to be so pleasantly surprised.
